PM visits PHQ on the inaugural ceremony of NCCOM Center


On 15 September, 2013 the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the newly constructed building named National Crime Control and Operations Monitoring (NCCOM) Center at Police Headquarters. Dr. Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir,  Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs, H T Imam, PM’s advisor on Public Administration, Advocate Shamsul Hoque Tuku, State Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs, C Q K Mustaq Ahmed, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, H.E. Shiro Sadoshima, Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh have also enlightened  the occasion . With the foundation of 22 stored (with basement), the construction of seven stored building is completed with the financial assistance of Bangladesh Government and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under its Japan Debt Cancellation Fund (JDCF) at the cost of Tk. 82.47 crore.  Inspector General, Bangladesh Police Hassan Mahmood Khandker delivered the welcome address and Additional IGP A K M Shahidul Hoque gave the vote of thanks on this auspicious ceremony. Police Officers from all ranks were present on the occasion. The purpose of this newly established NCCOM Center is to monitor the function of police officials working on the field with a view to increase the ability of Bangladesh Police for creating a new dimension to serve the nation.
